The article includes notice of just one part of Jim's technical contributions to the digital film industry with his "publication of the DCI Specifications 1.0 in 2005 (an under-appreciated collective achievement that deserves a gold star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame) Jim went on to become Senior Vice President of Operations and Technology for Deluxe Digital Cinema, as Steve Bergman built a strong team around him for the brave new digital world.".... the article continues with a nice write up of him career, life, family and hobbies.
