Mark passed away in his house in Cornelius. Mark was a key engineer in the 4051 team and was always a fun optimistic guy with a great laugh.

He was an avid outdooresman and amateur astronmer, He built a trailer just for his many telescopes to take to E. Ore and other dark sky places. He had always been diligent about his diabetes, taking ice packs for his meds in his backpack.. 

He enjoyed his Registered Historic Home and  he purchased all the furnishings appropriate to the dates of it being bullt.
